Hi, I’m Meghen.

I am a wife, mom, church leader, and writer who is passionate about seeing people’s faith restored in both God and the Church—His people.

Purpose

Why write a book?

Over the last ten years in ministry, I have sat across the table from countless women who all seem to be asking the same few questions:

  • Can God really be trusted? What about the Church?
  • How do I navigate all of the pain and disappointment I’m feeling?
  • Is it possible to pursue healing and live unapologetically as a free, beloved daughter of God?

And either by coincidence or sovereignty, those are the very questions I’ve also had to wrestle through myself.

Backstory

Daughters: Learning to Be Loved and Belong

I chose the title Daughters because, as women, it is the single common thread we share across cultures and generations; we may not all be wives and mothers, but we are all someone’s daughter. It is this core piece of my identity, however, that has felt the most broken and in need of redemption.

Through a vulnerable collection of essays based on my own experiences, this book is intended to serve as a guiding light for the woman who is desperate to find hope and healing amidst the broken pieces of her life and desires to live boldly and confidently as the daughter of a good and trustworthy Father.

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING

“I am moved after reading …tears rolling down my cheeks…desiring to get my hands on the parts not (yet) included…”

– Mary M.

“It is truly so beautiful. It’s raw. It’s unfiltered…It’s relatable to anyone who has experienced deep brokenness or been bled on by another’s brokenness— aka, everyone.”

– Cleere Cheery Reaves (Author, Podcaster, & Speaker)

“How do you begin to tell the story of how you became? I guess I’ll start where all of our stories start–at home. And by home I mean the people, places, and happenings that make us who we are. These three things shape the earliest beliefs that we have about ourselves and our places in the world. Our experiences at home travel with us like lifelong carry-ons…”
